Hope in the Landfill

Catch up class and education provides opportunity

In Cambodia many desperate families live in landfills. They and their children spend their days searching for items to sell or recycle. Since the beginning of the pandemic, because of loss of employment, this number has grown. In addition to the unsanitary conditions, fires are burned throughout the day causing smoke and soot.

Love Without Boundaries is currently working in two landfills and transporting children to school. Their schools offer these students a break from the landfill environment, nutrition, and education. Additionally, this also allows these children the ability to continue to live with their biological families.

RW’s support of the Love Without Boundaries school (and the ‘Catch Up’ class for students in the landfill) is solely because of the hard work each of you does every day!

We are working for the day every child has a home.

Work Connection

In 2020 and 2021, RW has supported the Love Without Boundaries school and the Catch Up Class for older children living in Cambodian landfills. Due to this support, LWB is able to continue to grow this program.
