RW Supply + Design’s mission is that we exist UNTIL EVERY CHILD IS HOME. Many children in Southeast Asia have parents who work long hours, sometimes even traveling across country borders as migrant laborers. When these parents are gone for work they often leave their children at home. If younger siblings are in the home, school age children become the primary caretaker…dropping out of school. We know that for any long term solution (EVERY CHILD IS HOME) to be effective, the whole family MUST be considered. We love seeing some of the creative ways the organizations we support consider at risk kids AND their family…

*Schools offering three meals a day for kids in their program (these students take food home to their parents at the end of the day).

*Early childhood centers at schools, allowing older siblings to attend school while their younger siblings are safe.

*After school education for older students who work during the day.

*Transportation to and from school.

*Parents given jobs at the school in order to be close to their children.

*Older students tutoring younger students.

*Former students becoming teachers in exchange for university scholarships.

The ability to support CREATIVE educational opportunities for at risk children, and work until the day that every child is home, is solely because of the work that you do each day!
