Each employee of RW Supply + Design contributes to the mission of working towards the day EVERY CHILD IS HOME, and we get excited about the ways individual employees are personalizing this mission. Jessica Solis (West Plains’ Accounting Department) has helped children by participating in foster care and becoming a CASA (Child Appointed Special Advocate) volunteer. Jessica recently finished providing foster care for a teen girl in transition. “Providing foster care was rewarding to me because I could show our foster child how a family operates and give her love and attention. It also challenged me to blend how our family operates with her background.” After completing foster care, Jessica decided to become a CASA volunteer to help kids that need a safe adult in their life. “Making a difference locally” motivates Jessica and is something she can do while raising her biological children. Jessica is challenging us to think about more ways that we can be involved in the lives of children locally. Our ability to work until the day that every child is home is solely because of the work that you do each day.
We are working for the day every child has a home.
