Love Without Boundaries does this through their Unity Initiative. They help biological, foster, or adoptive families with medical costs. The following is an update from a recent surgery we participated in….

Just before dawn on a frigid morning in rural China, a couple of sanitation workers began their shift at 3:00 a.m. As they worked, they heard faint cries coming from a street corner. Wrapped against the cold was a tiny baby—just about 2 weeks old—abandoned and struggling to survive.

The couple had no children of their own, but they didn’t hesitate. From that moment on, they became her family—protecting her, nurturing her, and loving her as their own. They are now in the process of formally adopting her!

We were able to partner with Love Without Boundaries to help cover the cost of her cleft lip repair surgery. This surgery will do far more than change her appearance. It will help her eat, speak, and thrive. She is now home and recovering while the adoption process continues. The cost for this surgery was just under $1500, but support for this surgery will ease the financial strain for her adoptive family.

Being a missional company gives us a glimpse into the many ways people are working to see Every Child Home. The work each of you does every day allows children in the Unity Initiative to be able to receive what they need and grow up in a HOME.
