RW Supply + Design’s mission is that we exist UNTIL EVERY CHILD IS HOME. To achieve this lofty goal, we aim to see each child as an individual. The reality of 153 million orphans is heartbreaking. Even more staggering is that this is not just a statistic, but 153 million different stories. These stories include horrible loss, trauma, and hopelessness. Because each of these children has a different story, we recognize that there is not just one solution. While we love to see every child with their biological family, all 153 million of these children might not have biological families able to care for them. Adoption is not the best case scenario for each of these children. We look at multiple solutions to serve multiple situations. Our desire is to see 153 million stories of loss and sadness become 153 million stories of redemption and hope…because of a water filter, a relative who is resourced with food, a teacher that has a salary, a foster parent that receives training, an adoptive parent given a grant, and more. This is why, while we started with adoption grants, our four areas of focus emerged. We love to hear about new and different ways of providing home for orphaned and at risk children. The ability to provide hope for each of the 153 million orphans in the world, and work until the day that every child is home, is solely because of the work that you do each day!
