RW Supply + Design’s mission is that we exist UNTIL EVERY CHILD IS HOME. One way we do this is through adoption. There are many facets of adoption and every adoption is the different. However, when we consider every child being home, we focus on four strategies to fulfill this purpose…

Family Preservation

…we believe that every biological family should stay together if possible. Poverty should never be the reason a child is abandoned or removed from their home. There is no amount of money, life comfort, type of education that is better than kids having the attachment of biological family members. It is best for families and (often) the most financially effective way to make certain kids are home.

Homes for At-Risk Children

…sometimes kids are still connected to their biological families, but unable to grow up with their parents. They might live in other family style housing where they return to biological relatives for the weekend. Or, sadly, they might have already lost their parents through a myriad of circumstances. These homes offer a next best option for kids. These are not orphanages, but family style homes with consistent parents.

Education

…education is ONE of the most effective tools in pulling children out of poverty. Poverty is the single most significant factor in kids losing their families. Additionally, in an education system, children can attach to teachers to create a wide support network.

Adoption Grants

…for many years we focused on adoption grants first. Now our adoption grant focus is grants for children waiting for families. Our HOPE is that every single child, waiting in an orphanage or in the foster care system, is able to grow up with a family. We have given grants for both international and domestic adoption, older and younger children, sibling groups, kids with medical needs, etc. The ability to work to make sure that every child is HOME, through adoption grants for waiting children, is because of the work that you do each day!
