RW Supply+Design will be hosting a mission trip to Costa Rica to distribute water filters to people in need.

Trip Summary

We are partnering with an organization called Filter of Hope to host a mission trip that is open to RW employees and select guests to apply for. The RW Leadership Team will be selecting a group of approximately 24 people to go on this trip.

Filter of Hope (FOH) delivers water filters to people in need across Central America. Providing free access to clean water is a critical way to help families thrive. We will be fully trained and sent out in teams to install these water filters in the homes of people who do not have easy access to safe drinking water. Along with delivering water filters, FOH also shares how someone can become a follower of Jesus Christ. You do not have to share this message yourself, but you do need to be ok with someone else within our group talking about it with the people and families we meet.

Trip Itinerary

• November 16: Travel day to San Jose, Costa Rica.
• November 17 – 19: Deliver water filters to families in towns and villages around San Jose.
• November 20: Fun day! We will be finalizing details, but this could include fishing, a city tour, etc.
• November 21: Travel day to return home.

Trip Costs

For RW Employees
If this is your first RW Mission trip and you are selected for this trip, the company will cover the cost of travel and in-country expenses.
If you have been on an RW Mission trip previously, the company will pay for your in-country costs, and you will be responsible for your flight and travel expenses.

For children/spouses of RW Employees
If you are interested in your child or spouse coming with you on this trip and your application is accepted, the company will cover in-country costs and you will cover the travel costs of your child/spouse.

For RW Guests
RW will cover the travel and in-country expenses for this trip.

Important Passport Requirements

You will need a valid passport book that does not expire before May 21, 2024.
If your passport expires before 6 months after November 21, Costa Rica will not allow you in the country. Please check to make sure your passport is valid for at least six months past November 21, 2023. If you or your child/spouse do not have a passport, or it is not valid, you will need to start the process immediately, as it takes up to 11 weeks for passport applications to be processed.

Application Deadline

We are now accepting applications for RW Mission: Filter of Hope Costa Rica 2023, and the deadline to apply is August 18, 2023.

Requirements: In addition to being comfortable with an international mission trip with a spiritual focus, you need to have worked with the company for one year.
